How to train for a marathon/half marathon?

Nowadays, the number of participants taking part in marathon(42km)/half marathon(21km) is increasing year by year. To some people, it may seems it's a daunting task. They will be asking whether they will complete it. So, I'm here to share some preparation tips in preparing these events listed above.

From the beginning of your prepartion, you may start running about 30 minutes every time for at least three times per week. Take it slow, you don't need to rush. As time goes by, increase your running time gradually.

On the event day, try to run three to four minutes per km slower on your long runs and on race day. Otherwise, just make sure you can talk comfortably, and take plenty of walk breaks. This pacing strategy will give you the endurance you need without wiping you out.

That's all and thank you for your time. :)
