Transformers 4: Age of Extinction Review

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction features a whole new cast, gone are the Sam Witwicky (played by Shia Lebouf). The movie starts with a new hero in town, Cade Yeager (played by Mark Wahlberg), an amateur small town Texas robotics inventorand a super-hot 17-year-old daughter Tessa (played by Nicola Peltz). One day, Wahlberg buys a beat-up old transport truck that he finds inside a rotting old movie theater (don’t ask, it’s never explained) and takes it home to discover that it’s Optimus Prime, desperately in need of some repairs. This bring them into some deep trouble involving Harold Attinger(played by Kelsey Grammer) as an evil CIA agent leading an operation called Cemetery Wind  hunting down Autobots. They had killed Ratchet and Leadfoot in the movie with some help from Lockdown, a bounty hunter. Joshua Joyce (played by Stanley Tucci) as the head of KSI and a tech billionaire who figured out how to build his own Transformers from stolen Transformer parts and redesigned them into man made Transformers. When the evil CIA agents hunt them, they were saved by Tessa's secret boyfriend, Shane (played by Jack Reynor) and managed to escape. Optimus meanwhile rallies the last remaining Autobots, Bumblebee, Hound , Drift and Crosshairs. Cade hacks into a drone he took from the attack in Texas, and learns that Cemetery Wind is working with a corporation called KSI. They decide to infiltrate KSI headquarters in Chicago for information. After that, Attinger commanded Galvatron and Stinger to pursue the Autobots. Galvatron and Optimus battle before Lockdown wounds and captures Optimus, along with Tessa into his ship, where he locks Optimus in the middle of his ship, which also carries the Dinobots.

In the ship, Lockdown told our hero Optimus Prime that the Creators wants Optimus's head. In the ship, the other Autobots help to save them. Optimus reveals that Galvatron is Megatron reincarnated, and that he has been manipulating KSI to make an armyin order to wipe out humans and create more Decepticons. Cade warns Joyce, which at the same time Galvatron activates by himself and infects all the KSI prototypes to join him. Joyce betrays Attinger and retreats to Beijing with Darcy, Joyce's assistant. and his business associate Su Yueming to get a military extraction.

Overall, this movie is poor with the exceptions of some good graphics and some battles between transformers that are above satisfactory. The human characters development and the plot are boring and blend. The dialogues is not good. I could say that I wasted 165 minutes for this movie.
