By this time, every Malaysian would have already known about the UPSR examination leak that resulted in nearly 470 000 pupils resitting for the examination. Many students would have gotten access to the leak using social media. Social media is an easy path to disseminate information quickly. As an example, students can share among themselves in secret groups in Facebook where they are unlikely to be caught. This negative act cannot be blamed on social media but social media certainly have had a hand in spreading these leaks and even the news of the leaks. The government has to do a better job in preventing this situation from happening again.
